It looks the same to me. They have never had a really long-term warranty. They do offer replacement at half their current retail price, as they always have too. Unfortunately, this isn't a huge net savings versus simply buying a new mould from an online supplier.

The line-up pins came loose on my 6 month old dbbl cav. .45 mold the 2nd time I used it. I emailed Lee about it and they offered to replace it with a new one. I declined and did the drill, tap and set screw fix to it. I just figured a new one would end up with the same issues. -O- issues since the fix.

Have had this happen to my 6 fav 401-175 when it gets to hot never sent it back. Had the sprue plate tang break off shortly after buying it and the sent me a new one free after I sent them a picture of it. Happy with Lee.

This is not a Lee bash post . But I thought the first year was free replacement not 30 days . And after that they paid shipping back to you .Marvin

Lee makes excellent dies and their price is hard to beat.
Their warranty matches their pricing point pretty well.

I recently returned a 401-174 mold that had an alignment problem from day one. It was several months old and I told them so and that it came from Midway. The mold halves were offset several thousandths; enough that sizing didn't remove the offset ridge. I sent in a photo, they told me to send it to them and in 5-6 days I had a new set of mold blocks with my old spruce plate and handle installed. They didn't ask for proof of purchase either, probably because it was clearly a manufacturing defect.

I'd rather deal with Midway than Lee or Lyman if the product had been recently bought. I spend a fair amount of money with Midway, who in turn spends boat loads of gold with both manufacturers. The good news is that I've never had issue with either L.
