I picked up 500 from a caster at a gun show that look just like these from Missouri Bullets.
Really liked them in 38 special so I started looking for a mold to cast some and .... Not having much luck finding this weight and configuration.
Anyone know of a mold that casts bullets that look like these for commercially offered ones? I like the shape, weight and having a crimp groove.

I suppose there is probably a SWC that is close but not having the shoulder of the SWC is sort of nice.

The Lee 358-125-RF (http://leeprecision.com/6-cav-358-125-rf.html) isn't quite so conical with a bigger metplat but it is the right weight and does have a crimp groove. The good thing is that it comes in a 6 cavity mold which means you can cast lots of bullets quickly.

type magma engineering into your google bar.
follow their home page to their bullet molds and look at their 38 caliber 125gr truncated cone bullet.
airc it's under their tapered base bullets.

I think magma is the source. There had been a power outage recent to the gun show and the fellow I bought the cast boolits from said with no power nothing else to do but fire up the generator to power the garage and cast several thousand boolits. I thought he was maybe rounding that number he cast up a bit. Not if he was using one of the magma pots, that equipment would make his statement make perfect sense. And one of the molds looks like a very good match. Pretty exact actually.

IraqVet1982 I went looking at NOE and somehow missed that one, also a good candidate. I saw the Lee mold and folks generally had favorable reviews but was not sure how it would be compared to the TC style. Just getting that thing dialed in to where I want wife to try it. You know final seal of approval on the load works.

Anyone used the magma molds with RCBS handles? I also noticed the sprue plates were different for use with the machines, do they work well by hand?

Lee makes a 356-120TC that is almost identical. Keep in mind that the 356 is arbitrary to what alloy you're using. I typically get .358-.359 drops from this mold and use it for both 38 Spc and 9mm sized to .358

I use this mold^ for my 9mms, 38 Specials, and 357 Magnums...

Looks like a job for Tom at Accurate Molds. He will be able to make you a mold that drops the exact size you want with your alloy, cavities you want, material you want and etc.

The 36-125M looks like it is the same as the bullets in your link.
