I tend to leave 'em be, but won't tolerate them coming into my woods where my 8 year old and his puppy play

We killed one of those buggers a few days ago. We don't want them anywhere near us. It was 4 feet long and had 10 rattles and a button.

After all of the rain down there the snakes are probably going to be visiting many new places simply looking for something to eat because all of their local food drowned.

Please watch yourselves now.

I agree with TXGunNut, the second picture is a good snake. We have killed 6 rattle snakes in the past few weeks around my house and barn and my sons house. I have 5 grand kids youngest is 2 that run around bare footed all the time. If snakes want to live they must not do it around me or they wind up like number 2. wcp

yep I take the head off and skin them from there.
tubing them all the way inside out nipping the skin off at the tail and then curing the skin.
I cut the under the skin part into 1-1/2" long chunks and fry the meat in some butter and garlic and don't share with anybody.

Man, I could fry my shoes in that and they would be tasty!
