sounds like a blast. How many hours did that take you to catch them all?

I have a feeling for some smoked Spanish mackerel, and some beer.

We actually fished about eight hours not counting catching bait and running time.

Did run out around Boca Grand? I usually stick to Pine Island sound and Charlotte Harbor just because it's close. You really have to watch around Pine Island though, the water can get skinny real fast. Yesterday was a great day to be out and getting a nice catch like that makes it even better. Good luck on getting more and good eating.

Good for you!!!

Not much of a fisherman myself. Do my fishing at the seafood counter at the supermarket...big fan of broiled salmon and grilled swordfish.

Spent the money I saved on fishing boats to buy guns and reloading gear.

Did have a 16-1/2ft tri-hull until about 20 years ago. Miss the boat and the fun we had on it...the expense, not so much.
Never fished off it...mostly parties and pretty girls in bikinis. I do miss that last part...a lot!

Awesome!! We hit it hard with the surf rods at Playalinda beach a week or so back. Playalinda is north of Kennedy Space Center, CF. Pompano were running and hitting sandfleas. Caught a few blues too!

Last great day I had offshore, I had the lights going on the platform five minutes after the helicopter landed.

On previous trips, I did enjoy fishing over the handrails after work, though.

Do it just a bit differently on this side of the world...but I do love wreck and well fishing for the tasties...Wife and me some years ago with the "carp" (blue marlin) and my buddy that is often on the board with his yellow fin tuna (over 300#)139354

I'm an old Petronas fan for yellowfin...before I was a family man. Offshore reefs and the occasional run out to the rigs...I'm jealous bro, but wouldn't trade for nothing. Nowadays my time is invested back and forth between jr. high football, last year of little league baseball, and University of Alabama baseball.

Trying to make great memories for my 12-yr-old....

Cool story and pics bro!!!

Good luck.Have fun.Be safe.
