As I seat bullets the lube builds up on the seating stem and the boolits get seated progressively deeper. These are tumble lubed bullets 45-45-10. Other than wiping the lube from the nose of each boolit, is there any other way around this? I had considered spraying the stem with PAM cooking spray, but that might be silly.

This lot I'm loading is 600 rounds. Wiping the nose of each is time prohibitive

For my tumble lube applications I dip lube. Perhaps you could try using thinner lube (thin alox w/mineral spirits to water consistency). Another method I looked at is to place a bunch of bullets in a shallow pan, base down, and fill with alox/45-45-10 to the level needed to cover the body of the bullet. Pick each bullet out of the lube/pan and set it on wax paper or aluminum foil to dry. Clogging the seating die with tumble lube is just part of tumble lubing, even with thinned lube...

Another reason that I don't use tumble lube. Hate having the
whole thing covered in goop like .22 ammo.

don't put so much on.
all you need is a very thin light wash [just enough to get between the barrel and the bullet]
my second coat is usually just more mineral spirits and heat.
my version is 45/45/50 in other words I use waay more mineral spirits, and heat the boolits up to hot with a hair dryer.

+1 on above. You are using WAY too much.

Another reason I like Hornady dies, takes 2 seconds to pop the punch out without changing settings.
I make a mess myself and I use Felix by stuffing in with fingers mostly, almost never have enough for pan lubing. I don't wipe boolits.
