Hello - I'm sorry to intervene in your chat room, and hope this doesn't come across as too intrusive - I'm looking to contact Wally Bator (Designer of the 22 Bator). We help in the production of his custom mold from Lee and would like to talk to him if possible. The last time I spoke to him he was on his way in for some pretty serious surgery. Your help is appreciated and once again, sorry for the intrusion.

No intrusion, welcome! Sorry that I can't help you though.

I wish I could help.

Coincidentally, I just found out a few days ago that the Bator mold I bought from Midsouth a ways back is so named for the guy that designed it, and that he is a member of this very forum. Best wishes to Wally Bator.

I think it was Wally that had a heart transplant in 2004.

Try contacting a member here named "buckshot". He's a plank owner here, having been one of the original startup group. Another possibility would be "Maven". One of them would have the information you seek, if anyone would.

Sadly. many of our older members no longer come to visit.

I thought he was from Australia and do not recall seeing him post in years.

I can't remember Wally's handle on here. Love his bullet designs, though!

Well, I am merely guessing, but if he had a heart transplant in '04, he's PROBABLY no longer amongst the living, though I hope he is.

The transplant survival rate after 10 years is only about 49-61%, and depending on reasons for transplant, maybe less.

Sounded like Dawallace45 knew him personally, maybe he can be contacted.

Maven knows nothing about Wally Bator.

Sorry about that, I was grasping at straws. It does appear that Buckshot had direct contact with him at one point.
