For my first attempt I used an RCBS Pro-Melt to cast Lyman 358063 DEWC boolits. The alloy I used was 2.22% Sn / 2.21% Sb / 0.18% As / 95.39% Pb according to Bumpo's calculator.

The pot ran between 755 and 820 degrees. It was 40 degrees outside with a bit of a wind. I had 268 good boolits and 10 rejects. Boolit diameter was 0.3575". Aberage weight is 143.179gr with a standard deviation of 0.68gr. The lightest boolit was 139.0gr and the heaviest was 144.5gr.

Thanks to everyone on this board. The information and experience here is unmatched.

I just cast 'em and shoot 'em! No math on this end.

Good batch.

Congratulations - good results for first go. I started casting over 50 years ago with the L 358495 WC.

You did very well!
You were obviously dealing with a lot of cool air running over your mold, and spout, which caused the light weight bullets in your curve.
You were compensating by running your pot much hotter than it should be for that alloy (typically) which put you in the sweet spot for a lot of those bullets.
Given the conditions you describe, and your experiance level, I'd say you did about as well as could be expected!
Next time, try to set up a wind break, turn your heat down to 725, prime that spout for a good second, and speed up your cycle time a little.
You're running just a little bit cool there, and your spout was getting cold throwing some low numbers.

Really great run though!
