Take the sprue plate off of the mold.
go buy some 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper.
lay the sandpaper on a piece of glass, or steal your ever lovin's mirror and lay it down and put the sand paper in it.
spray the paper with some kerosene, or winded, or some water.
mold side down, rub the sprue plate on it in a figure eight.
keep doing this until the bottom of the sprue plate is equally shiny.
clean, lube, and reinstall.
go cast bullets!

tightening and loosening a sprue plate can create flashing on boolits bases just one affects one end and doing the opposite affects the other end.

one other thing that causes it is one side of the mold being lower than the other, this is an alignment pin issue.

Let the alloy drop into the mould. Dont pressure cast with bottom pour spout in contact with the mold.
