100 Pound Casting Pot

Hello All

The attached PDF file is from a CAD drawing of a 100 pound casting pot.

The valve design is copied from a post made in 2009 by another member on this forum.

The container for melting the lead is 8 inch pipe with a 1/4 inch bottom plate.

I may make two of these pots for making alloys for special purposes.

Just another drawing with some thought.

Design is done in Solid Works.

I basically have the same thing, But mine was a ladle pot made one night in the beth steel mill out of scrap about 45 years ago. Still using it.:D. God Bless to all and theirs.
