I didn't see my first until I was 55, so I know she got a thrill.

Last week while the 4 year old grandson was visiting, big tom with a 6 hen harem was fanning in the pasture, 2 smaller wannabes were approaching and fanning same time, but no fights broke out(dang!) before the big boy eased off into the woods with his womenfolk.
The boy was glued to the binocs the whole time watching them, PopPop and NaNa were so tickled watching him watching them. Hope I'm there when he puts his first one on the dinner table !
