I have just received a mould to cast boolits for my 6.5x55 Mod94 and 6.5x54r Mod 14 Greek Mannlicher. It will cast 156 grains at .268. I have a .266 and a .268 sizer and I have both Unique and 2400 to hand. Any suggestions for a starting load.

My m96's 6.5x55 liked 9 - 11 grs of unique, and 13.2 - 13.5 grs of 2400, sized as large as possible.

I like 8 to 10gr of Unique in my M38 6.5x55. Have not had good luck with 2400 as many others have.

bangerjim, what are you using? I have been trying all sorts of powders but, nothings better that Unique, yet.
