As some of you know I was out of town for work was supposed to get back Monday, got back this morning for a nice meal.with my kin and got to go back. Anyhow went to a gun show cause its in a city I don't go to put on buy a different promoter And I saw a four pound jug of bullseye and 2 one pound cans, got all 6 pounds for hold on to your chest like Fred Sanford, $75! Now if I could find some unique. Thought I'd share my good find with you guys and girls.

I wondered what was more rare than the easter bunny. Your right! Good score. I just found 5 lbs of IMR 4227 for $125 and bought it all.

Good Deal - was this from a vendor or private party?

Great score on the Bullseye, should last you quite some time.

Those powders are not all that rare at the local gun/hobby stores in Wichita, as of about January of this year. On the other hand, they're only in 1lb containers and they're selling for something like 26 bucks each - sounds like you got a heck of a deal. It's good news, though - pistol powder is making a strong comeback, albeit a slow one.

Buckshot and I were in a LGS last week and there was a shelf of new powder. Lots of Bullseye and another pistol powder whose name I have forgotten as well as many cans of various rifle powders. Buckshot bought several cans of Bullseye for himself and another friend. The pistol powders were $24 per pound and the other powders were $24 -26. I have two pounds of Bullseye so I didn't buy any. I don't shoot pistols that much and as Little Jimmy Dickens put it, " at my age I don't even buy green bananas". Now if he had some Unique.

A friend and fellow member here found Clays in MT and snagged me 4# in 1lb. cans for $27.xx a can ..... no sales tax there and a grand sum of $108 ....... that's all they had or I'd likely got even more since it's being phased out in Aus. where it's made!

My plinking big bore revo and light shotgun loads are guarenteed for the time being now .........

........... so that's what the "Ehter" bunny brung me!

Best regards
