Now that I have my mod from Mike and my AS/2, I took the next logical step. I ordered the Hornady rifle bullet feeder and 30 cal conversion. Honestly I didn't unbox the whole thing just in case my gut was wrong. Well, as it turns out, one tiny mod to strengthen the sweeper springs and all is well. My ogive is really long on my boolit and incorporates a .2 meplat. By adjusting the now stronger springs so the meplat can just barely make it through the sweeper but kicks it out if base down did the trick. Now to automate. For those of you wondering yes it does work. It does take a little patience and trial and error but it will work. I need to fine tune it and put the rest of it together but all is well.
