I have full sets of American Rifleman for 1945-1980. All bound and in leather NRA binders. Any idea what they might be worth?

Check the-site-that-must-not-be-named ! I have 'em back to 1930, some loose, a lot in binders as shown, and many actually bound in book form(I see asking prices as high as $70 for these, but they're not moving). The 45 to 70 would probably get $20-$25 in the binders easy. The later ones just not as good a read, but they still make good birthday presents for folks born in those years !

Donate 'em to a library and take an income tax deduction - I would value them @ $60/year, in binders.

No way! Worst thing you could do. They will bin them.

I was given two sets of American Rifleman that dated from 1927-1993. I took them to a big gun show and managed to get 100 bucks for one set and gave the other set away. I never took books of any kind to a gun show again. I did keep the year of 1940 from one set because each month had an article on an American single shot rifle. I couldn't sell old Gun Digest either, even one dated 1945. I did sell a 1952 and a 1957 edition.
