I bought a Cimmarron single action revolver chambered in .38LC/.38 Sp.

The throats in the cylinder are .360". Therefore, I need a source of cast bullets in weights of 125-150 grains in this diameter.....suggestions?

Thanks for any help on this one...

The NOE 360477 casts a .360+ and is 150gr, 145 as a HP.

edit to add: Nearly all NOE .358 cal will drop a .360 or better boolit. If interested, ask around for some to try before you buy.

Contact Tom @ Accurate molds. He can cut you whatever you want to fit the specs of the alloy of your choice.

Just curious . . . have you tried the revolver out with any "as cast" - i.e. .358 + if you have a mold that drops 'em that way? Before I put a bunch into a mold, I'd give it a try first as you may get good results with a boolit you already have a mold for.

I load a bunch of 38 Colt Short & Long and shoot them out of a Uberti Bisley - my boolits are a various profiles & weights but they shoot well out of the Bisley "as dropped" - depending on the mold, they drop at anywhere from .358 to .359 - sometimes just a mosh larger - and they all shoot well - but then again, every revolver is different. And & But - I haven't checked the throats on my Uberti as it shoots O.K. with what I have available.

I'm assuming you have either a Richards & Mason conversion or a '72 open top? I hope you'll post your progress on it as you find out what works best. I have one on my "to buy list" and if you go to a .360 over a standard "as dropped" from a .358, I'd love to know the results.

Good luck and have fun!

Actually am interested in a source of .360 diameter bullets, not in a mold as I don't cast my own bullets any more...
