Is this any good? I have been using 50/50 but found several spools of this at a local salvage store.

How much do I need to mix in with 10 Lbs of WW?

Thanks!

Standard leadless is usually 95% tin, 5% something else - usually antimony. For most bullet casting purposes you can regard the stuff as pure tin. If you want 1% tin in your alloy, you'll come pretty close if you just add 1% of the leadless solder. So, you would want about 1.6 ounces of solder for your ten pounds of WW.

I use this solder as my tin supply. You know exactly what you're getting. Mine comes in 1/2 pound coils.

I buy the 1-pound spoils and use it to make Lyman #2 from wheel weights. It is getting more and more expensive everytime i purchase a spoil...BCB

In answer to the how much into 10lbs of WW, I'd start with .2 lbs of solder. That yields just under 2% tin and should get you all the improvement you are going to get from adding tin. Adding much more than that wont improve fill-out any further.
