Was a good weekend my brother and I got to work and turn a pile of WW and 22 range scrap into a nice pile of ingots! Ended up with 700 lbs of 50/50 ww/22RS and 1200lbs of 22 RS. The plus is I now have 25-30 sft of floor in the barn.:). Well wife calling and dinner is ready. Clint

Yard sale this weekend produced 350 pounds of ingoted WW metal for about 58 cents a pound. Guy said no zinc and yesterday I randomly tested some of the ingots using mercuric acid. All were good. Now I need to find some pure lead to mix it with.

Nice!!! Can you share dimensions? Looking to build one as well. What type of windows are you using?

135205The inside demension's are 6' X 6'. It has 7' headroom. The windows are hand built plexiglass . Built with 2X4 walls sheeted with 1/2" plywood. Insulated with fiberglass covering the inside and outside. The covering is the kind used inside a simi-trailer. This thing was pre-fabed in my garage and hauled to the site. It is sitting on 4X6 treated post. Should be easy to heat with a little propane heater. As far as windows, you can make them too large. I have had a deer bust me when my outline lined up between two windows. Might not be a problem in flat land but in these mountains a deer can be on your level.
It will be an improvement over my old one. You can see it in one of the photos. How do you like the parking garage ?
