Are they any good I heard they are kinda really crappy. I read some reviews also and on the buds sight they look made up. The good ones anyway. I am just asking dont hang me. I too am in the 1911 market.

I bought one a couple of years ago. I don't have much 1911 experience but mine is tight with no slide to frame wiggle. The sights on the A1 model are tough on old eyes so I replaced the rear with a deep U notch sight and painted the front sight white. The pistol is definitely no frills. It is a GI configuration so it doesn't have extended controls or a beaver tail. It feeds anything I put through it from 230 grain round nose to semi wadcutters to hollow points. The finish on mine was not very durable and showed holster wear after only a month. I have read that the early ones had that problem but later imports were more durable. I tuned the extractor and replaced the atrocious 20+ pound recoil spring with a 16 pounder and the pistol runs like a dream.

Seems to be a straight talker and he calls a spade a spade when it needs it. Audie...the Oldfart.
