Hey guys,
Was just at Grafs in St Charles on my break. They have 8lb jugs of promo for $115. Also 700x, power pistol, and 800x. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

Did you call grafs in st charles or did you check the website? Most of the time the Web will send you to grafs of Mexico Missouri, and they are two different companies. Call(636) 946-7468.

I don't think Promo is ever gonna be available in 1#. The websites say it's basically bulk red dot.

In any event, I'm sure tired of not finding the powder I want. But on the other hand I don't make it to the range enough to shoot what I have.

Oooooo didn't realize they didn't have 1# promo. None the less I would love to get some locally even 8# I was an idiot and passed up two 8# jugs of BE -86. Have lots of pistol powder but I'm about to ramp up production again. 150 OTD for each jug and I thought it was too much $$$ to buy more pistol powder..... Idiot....

I've been seeing a little more powder locally and on a Facebook group a guy was selling an 8# of Red Dot last evening. I think he wanted $170. That will go a long way at the 4-5 grain charges required for pistol.

I haven't heard much about BE-86. It seems like all of a sudden there are so many new choices, assuming they ever return to stock. I guess it's about time for some new technology but it will take many of us a few years to burn through what we have.

Somebody on the board started a thread a couple weeks ago about testing be86 but I think life got in the way for a minute. Still waiting for him to post on that. I burn through around 8lbs for pistol a year. I start looking when I get down to 4lbs just cuz it might take that long to get restocked.

Be86 appears to be a very nice universal handgun powder with mild and hot loads. Someone here just sent a few 9mm thru his chrony. The days of cheap powder are over. But I'm a cheap fool. Even with a 100$ increase on an 8# jug the cost per bullet is so minimal!!!
