Yeah--a CZ-550 Lux in 7 x 57 would be my choice, but would settle for a 30-06. :)

What is Wiljen's Initiation Fee? 500# of Linotype would be a good start.

Pretty intimidating challenge working amongst such experience but it sounds like fun and I welcome the opportunity to learn more.

What's a Mauser? It's a Parker-Hale that came out of the closet.

Very true Buckshot very true.

Mind you I'd hate people to think that I'm old fashioned and all against change.

I do have to confess that I think that newfangled Lee Enfield with its minuscule .303" cartridge could have some merit.

Still it was only approved for service in 1895 so only time will tell.
