Would this be a good bullet for a 1:9 twist AR? I am mainly concerned with feeding/cycling.

If it's a 5.56mm NATO chamber with there .227" throat. I'm thinking it would not fit all that well. but I've not tried it.
Little third grade math shows loaded at magazine length of 2.260". Gas check would be just .020" below neck of 223. Since about any bullet you shoot in a NATO chamber will have to jump down that long throat. The MX3 would probably shoot as well as any. I have the Mx3 in 55 grain but not tried it in my 5.56mm. NOE makes a couple .227" bullet just for those fat throats. Don't know which ones people like the best. Kind of like picking out the best grape in a bowl.
