Honestly don't know. I avoid the Pit so could care less about what happens there. I don't really want to read about politics in the evening, would rather unwind. I'm not sure what belongs in Our Town but I like the threads that come up here.

Problem is that some people avoid the pit - but some things require immediate action by pro-gun people (M855 regulation change comments period for example) - The problem is the only forum that's suitable as a bulletin board (booletin board?) is Our Town as I see it anyway.

I only look at the topics that interest me in any of the forums. If I'm not interested in something, I skip over it. Nothing requires you to look at anything you don't want to, or requires you to respond to it. With most of the topics I do look at, I don't respond either.

On the other hand, there are some topics that come up I'm not interested in, but I do look at them if I see someone posting in that thread that I think might have something worthwhile reading.

For better or worse, it seems to me that " Our Town " ( even though it probably wasn't originally intended for this ) has turned into a catch all for about any topic imaginable.

This needs to be in handguns, but isn't ? ?
