That was a nice flashback when life seemed so different from what it was to become in the sixties.

My teen years. Very influential time. I remember everything they showed.
Thanks for the memories.

The hippe movement was nothing less than a progressive movement and changed our whole nation.

Thanks for a short return to life as it should have been. Been watching reruns of Father Knows Best, Jack Benny, Burns & Allen, and the old b & w Gunsmoke.

I'm very thankful I'm not a kid growing up in todays world, don't think I could handle all the authority.

I guess every generation laments about the good old days. And they often seem much better than where they are now. I'm sure many here had parents who thought Rock and Roll was a plot to destroy the country. Things and times change sometimes for the best and sometimes for the worse. In the words from a Billy Joel song....The good old days weren't always so good and tomorrow isn't as bad as it seems. Looking back the world wasn't a more innocent place.....but we were more innocent. It is nice though to see videos like that though.....smiles.

Before my time but I love the music, and growing up in small town rural MN we lagged 10 years behind!

I don't remember seeing gas higher than 26 cents a gallon in the 1950s. I do love to reminisce though. I had A LOT more freedom to come and go at a younger age than my teenagers do now.
