After frustration with FF 36.0 turning into a zombie process after the screen locked for inactivity, took up a suggestion to try Pale Moon (wish it came in a six pack) http://www.palemoon.org/ and it is a related development of FireFox. DL'd it today and fired it up. A little dodgy with all the #$%& ads and stuff, so I DL'd Privacy Badger add-in and returned to the fray. The first time you visit a page, PB identifies sites or cookies. Each one is then listed on a drop down list, with a slider that allows full access, allows cookies to that site only, or totally blocks it.

Helps to keep the browser functioning, because with enough eye candy and ads, ANY browser crawls. Unless you have enough CPU power and clock cycles to waste...

Pale Moon. Try a stein.

I find this interesting. I don't see any ads when I dl and install pale moon. Are you sure you don't have something else going on?

I installed this early yesterday and also seen no indication of it being "A little dodgy with all the #$%& ads and stuff"

I tried that Privacy Badger a couple weeks ago and saw no improvement over what I am already using, Uninstalled, as I don't need any extra stuff going on.

Some sites don't have much for trackers, some do.

Privacy Badger blocks spying ads and invisible trackers.

Can't speak for every site.
