I had a Britt back in 73 to 76 while living in California, he was a great bird dog and I hunted at every opportunity. All he wanted to do is hunt or fight with other male bird dogs he ran into but especially in the field. When we moved to Denver I had no place to hunt him so I gave him to a fellow that hunted a lot. I know he was in good company.

Been With dogs most of my life, can't say I actually owned any, more like I was a caretaker and close friend.
Sure do miss them when they go to the barkinglot in the sky!
