Does anybody have an opinion or favorite brand of a-rail for a m4?

Midwest Industries is what I went with. Nice and light, easy to install.

If you're not planning to hang everything but the kitchen sink off of your rail, you might want to consider one of the midwest industries gen 2 rails

The top rail is full length, but the sides and bottom are smooth unless you add rail sections to them.

I much prefer gripping this style rail than a full quad rail.

Skip the quad rail.

I much prefer none or at least the ones you can add wherever you want. The only thing I can think a full length quad rail would be good for is to have a place to hang a bunch of rail covers from.

Rail I have on my AR, I put the short sections on for now... might remove them though to save some weight.

I love my Hogue hand guard and grip, but nobody else seems to. It must not be mall ninja enough.
