Thank you John and Gear. No, I did not take the Desert Big Horn with the M1A. I used a 257 Robts Ackley Imp and a 100 gr Barnes TSX. One of the best reasons to live in Nevada. We have more big horn sheep than any state in the lower 48. And 3 species, Desert or Nelson, California and Rocky Mountain not to mention Mountain Goat. Good luck trying to draw one of those.

Bruce, I am not 100% sure about the true wording/"descriptions" here but bear with me. Idaho boasts 2 different sheep, the Rocky Mt. and Desert Bighorns. Idaho calls the ones North of the Salmon River Rocky Mt. Bighorns and what lies to the South as Desert/California Bighorn. I don't have regs right here with me so if I am wrong (quite possible) hopefully some more Idaho guys will hop in and line me out. NCBS in June ask me about my sheep hunting, I can't talk about it here on open forum, but it was an interesting adventure. Regardless of all that, that is still a really cool looking picture, very tastefull. JW

They are VZ grips that are made specifically for the Dan Wesson ECO. I believe the Elite Tactical Carry (ETC) in Zebra are the same thing, just with a different checkering pattern.

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking garands. But if you have been lurking here 2 years you must know that we want details. Boolit, mould, alloy, powder charge etc. Again welcome.

Sorry, lurking mostly on load data and such. I'll pay better attention to where I am posting in the future. The testing for this weekend will be...

Once fired HXP brass
Lyman 311413 (.311) w/ hornady gas check and BAC lube made from #2 alloy
13 grains of Red Dot with a CCI #200 primer
Hopefully it will make a nice 100 yard plinker with the added benefit of not having to hunt brass flung all over the range.

beautiful loads. We are worse than women with recipes on facebook when it comes to sharing load data here. We all want to know what you are using.

Thanks, Funny thing is I don't tumble my brass so most of it has a nice dull finish from washing (water, vinegar, dawn, and a little salt) but for what I do trim I use the Lee trimmer. While the thing is chucked in a drill I use one of those green scotch brite pads and they turn out pretty shiny. First did it just because the HXP was so grimy, turns out I like the results.

Thanks. The first ones out of the mold were like the one on the left. ( mold way to hot )
Took a long time for sprue to cool. I wanted to make sure the mold was hot enough. No worries there.
But after I cooled the mold, they were fine.

Those in that pic are Lee 200gr that I got from a member here on a boolit swap. They worked just fine but I settled on the 311299 for regular use.

If I had a vote it would go to Texassako. I'm impressed by the bullet design and the fact he had the patience to load more than 10 of those tiny 25acp rounds!

Those were my trial run with my new Lee 4 hole turret using the auto index. Less handling of those little bitty cases. I was loading 50 at a with a loading block and single stage previously, and that was getting old since I shoot a couple hundred rounds of them in a session. It has been my .22 pistol replacement the last few years

Thanks, didnt think I had a chance, I liked all the other pics. My kid broke my tablet, just got it back, so catching up on the forums. I found some empty clips so got more casting to do. Two really satisfying sounds.. my gong target being hit 8 times and that ping...
