Same show there was NO Unique. Only one powder dealer (Larry Kettle & Sons). Good selection of powder, prices so-so. Figure Haz-Mat and shipping if you were to buy it "cheaper" on-line, and (though it hurts) it isn't that bad.

Only 2 or 3 seller have it in stock online that I found and they are wanting $40-50 more than my local gun store + haz mat + shipping = no thanks guess I wait for LGS to get more

I missed the Edgerton show this weekend. Larry Kettle and sons is a good shop, not gougers. Ed and his wife are nice to deal with. Get alot of my supplies from them.

Pretty lady at the range the other day, sighting in her bolt gun and testing
different slug loads in her shotgun. I was impressed, smart and friendly,
too. Good to see ladies being involved more in shooting.

You have not seen my old lady then if you have not seen a real woman. I have been working with her for about 7 years now on how to shoot pistols and rifles. She has been to a couple of pistol training seminars and has outshot every single one there. I have seen a lot of guys hanging their heads low after she shoots.

The reloading part is next. She already runs my RCBS LAM luber. She was taught that when she was young by her father.

I do not want here to rely on someone else for her safety. She carries two guns, knife, flashlight with her every place she goes.

Offhand 15 yds. Not too bad.

Use your womanly powers MaryB!

Others have used theirs on me and I never knew it until several hours later, when the spell wore off.........

Ummmmm...the type of powder seems trivial now. Wow. If only she were holding a 1911 she'd be PERFECT!!!

Nah. Too high maintenance. I thought we were talking about real women. A friend of mine came home early from work one day and heard thumping noises from the basement. Fearing the worst, he rushed downstairs to catch her in the act. He got to the bottom of the stairs and she screamed "shooting!" It was worse than he had feared, she was practicing with her bow across the basement into one of those "no fail" arrow traps. She probably weighs about 125 lbs, and carries a 44 Bulldog. Sadly, she's young enough to be my daughter.... They didn't make women like that when I was young and invincible.

Imagine women foolish enough to want to go over to join the most recent nutcases.

A woman who is buying powder by herself-
- Is not being escorted by a male relative
- Most likely can drive by herself wherever she wants to go
- Is not wearing an outfit that has been approved by religious authorities
- If assaulted, she can use deadly force
- She can do just about any d*#n thing she wants, when she wants.
- Hot water, roads, electricity, postal system, roads, and coffee shops are available.

This goes for ALL American citizens. To those that say no culture is superior to any other, you can go over there and see how far being an individual will get you when strict adherence to a cultural norm is enforced.

And now back to the regularly scheduled broadcast...

Are you telling us that the weak knees was the only affect?? What about dry mouth, trembling hands, heart palpitations, and sweaty palms???

Are you telling us that the weak knees was the only affect??

Quite sure, because I had already asked Ed if he had any Unique earlier that week and he said nobody has it. I knew she didn't have Unique, so it wasn't a catastrophic situation.

Mrs. Treetop and our granddaughter were the ONLY family members to kill a deer this season (2014-15). Without the girl's good hunting and shooting skills, we would be venison-less this coming year.

Don't think we (myself and 2 grandsons) are not reminded of that fact, at every opportunity! Tt.

My LGS had Unique 2 weeks ago, 4 8 pound jugs and a whole lot of 1 pound... reasonable too, $25 pound I think it was.

Not again Wilco keep that picture in your wallet. If I saw a red head like that in a gun show I wouldn't have noticed if she was carrying a 50 BMG. All I would remember were those eyes.

Perhaps apocryphal, but the old saying is women learn to shoot easier because they don't have as many bad habits to overcome...

Stop before you make me drive up there. A woman with an 8lb jug of Unique in each hand is like the happy place in Happy Gilmore....
