SEATTLE – Seattle police say a woman was knocked unconscious when she was pelted by an egg in a so-called drive-by egging.
Detective Patrick Michaud says the egg hit the woman right behind the ear and knocked her out. Her friends caught her before she fell to the ground and drove her to a local hospital.
Police say the woman and her friends were standing outside a bar in the Crown Hill neighborhood when someone in a passing truck threw a volley of eggs at them.
An employee of the bar was also hit in the egging.

I had a car get egged as a teen. I had painted it with a high quality paint and the one egg they hit it with before I caught them did scratch it a little. I have no doubt an egg thrown hard wouldn't be pleasant. The shell in a cross section is quite sharp.
