As I just get the gas smell washed of my hands I ponder. Can I get a good gas and fuel can with the just plain pour spout in your great land. In the great wisdom of our EPA all we can get is the spill proof that are guaranteed to leak all over. If so I may have to make a lunch run to get a few and see some more of the great place! Clint

The last of my good Canadian gas cans ( from Canadian tire) just went bad. I brought them down when I moved out of Montreal 25 years ago. Our cans down here barely last me a year.

I'm not canadian, but as of a year ago, you could still get them in the Yukon at least. You can still get them anywhere by buying race cans. Our hardware store carries them, with a sign that they are not to be used for GAS. lol

Get a replacement nozzle from most any Menards in the auto dept.

They will fit just about any plastic can.

I have two of these white ones I use for water only and red ones for gas,If I used kero I would get the blue one.One note is they sell the nozzle seperate. You can make one of the noozles get a pic. They are not cheap.I like the long noozle type hose for atvs and motorcycles.Got mine at pureoffroad. Also easy so handle while full.

Plus one on the EZ-Pour spouts from Rural King. I bought one to try and I like it so well I am going to replace the nozzles on all of my cans with them.

You can get the 20L NATO Jerricans with the flexible spout at most off road and RV stores around here. Mine were made in Germany and have the NSN number on them.

Yeap we sure can Pun intended LOL

Scepter cans and the big old 6 gallon red jerry cans. I like the red scepter cans as they are thicker and have a a very square design they work real good. And it is pretty much mess free but still put out fuel great.

Yes indeed, We still buy the Scepter brand nozzles . I think we can even export them from Canada into the US ( Might be the only thing ) that doesn't require a permit!???

My plan at this time is road trip to the Blue Water bridge and over to a Walmart, dinner and maybe spend the night. Then to keep the best half happy hit some quilt shops. I am lucky all I have to do is buy some quilt fabric and she is good to go. Clint

I despise the new safety gasoline filler spouts.

I won't use them. I either get an old Jeep/Jerry can, or I go to a race or motorcycle shop and use the fill hose, or dump style ones when I need a new a plastic gasoline or diesel container now.

I never thought I would hoard my old style gasoline containers for their ease of use, but here we are.

I hate plastic gas cans. Those new spouts would work fine IF.... a person has 3 hands. The cause more spilling when used for small equipment like leaf blowers, chainsaws, weed wackers than the straight pour ever did.. I don't have a single can that hasn't started leaking at the cap after about 6 months even after replacing the gasket........I think it would help if they were required to have a metal inlet molded in. A least you could put a little more torque on the cap without it slipping the threads.

I cut off the ends on those new spouts and add a piece of poly tube. I also just found a source for vent caps which will be installed on my cans without them.
