Just driving by Ben Avery Range Wednesday on my way through Phoenix. All the S.A.S.S shooters in full dress shooting plenty of lead pushed by a lot of blackpowder. Lots of vendors selling cowboy guns, to period clothes. If you're in area, it's worth a look. $5.00 to park, no admission. Going on through Sunday.

The parking area is a ways from the site were the Winter Range is. They run trollys to transport the people and the do have a lot of Police around normally.
I haven't been to it in a couple of years and probably won't make it this year. Supposed to be getting a big storm in late tomorrow so this will affect this.
