Am I missing something about how he put cartridges in that gun? Looks like he swapped cylinders on an 1860 Colt to me. I never noticed that when I saw the movie last as a little kid.

I recognised that movie scene as soon as I saw it ! Sure the took quite a few liberties with actual gun facts but great movie all the same. FB

That was a interesting part of the whole move of switch the parts of one to another.I know for how it look he was listen to see if it was worn in a part.But I know what that movie was when it first start.

I read somewhere he improvised the whole scene and really didn't know much about guns...{/shrug}

it is possible he used his phone, and as mine does, it jumps around when you type, and the end result makes no sense......or it is just an Iowa thing.
