View Full Version : Starting casting today with 2 ne LEE moulds

1 old style and one the New LH

The older mould was for the 303 brit and casted a nice boolit at .316

The new style was the 30 cal 309-113FP and it casts at .310 or .3105

The sprue plate screws totally do not work. I have an eye DR app tomorrow and on Thursday I am drilling a sprue plate screw lock screw for both. I am however still below cost of a better mould, I hope

Don't forget the new models have a left-hand thread for the sprue plate bolt.

I put Bullshop lube on the pivot pin's and haven't had that problem.

Wow–I'm impressed that that 312-185 is dropping at .316". Mine barely made .312".

My Mike don't lie maybe Lee messed up?? Just what they measure and I am happy!
