Last time Starline was going to have some in stock I waited till the day after it was to be in and it was already gone. I just put a preorder in today since it's supposed to be in the 23rd.

I'll never order (my favorite) new Starline brass unless it's IN STOCK for immediate delivery.
Starline takes orders for stock that won't be produced for up to 6 months, or more. I've experienced it twice, with no notice.
If ya need it now, you'd be better off paying the Cabelas price.

I bought some .44 Magnum brass from http://www.northstarbullets.com/brass/ last week, and they had 300 left, but looks like it is gone now. They are closing their website on Feb 28, but still have some other calibers in stock.

That was my first order with them, and they shipped the next day. Nice folks.

My experience has been that when starline estimates a delivery date, the brass shows up around that time. And at a price that is considerably cheaper than Cabelas when you buy bulk. I think you did great.

Yeah, I ordered 38-55 brass from Starline on one occasion and waited about 5-6 months. But hey, they sent me some !! They had said it would be quite a while. I think they only make that brass twice a year.
