I recently got paid on a contract, and I'd like to get a referral so I can get the life membership for $300.

Thanks!

Are they offering them for $300 now? If so, I would like to get one for my son and I.

I too would like to know how. I can think of some family and friends that would sign up at that price.

Keep us posted on what type of a deal they have.

If it is the $300.00 deal my son will soon become a LIFER.[smilie=s:

Anyone that needs one, let me know how and you got it. Also post details cause I'm sure there's others that can take advantage of this too.

I got mine for $300.But as a disabled vet. They took my word, didn't need any paper work.Nor was there a minimum rating.

I just looked over NRA.org and didn't see any mention of this offer. Life memberships for $1000 but no special offers. Any further info would be appreciated.

I too have heard of it, but never found the path. At my age, the regular membership is a bargain, and the 1k is out of reason.

I got my life membership for 300.00 when the major panic was happening
don,t know how I came up with the money being laid off at the time but where there's a will as "they" say

Last "deal" I received in mail was for $500 life or $20 annual. They send something to Lifers every year with a similar offer for the Lifer's family and friends.

Try calling membership services. Give them this info, Richard L. Carter, member # PTLIFE 000000539585.
I don't know if that is all you need, or not. If not, ask them if they would accept the $300 Life deal. Worst they can say is no.

I called them today. There is no life membership for $300. The only offfer they have is for 1/2 off of $500. Guy I spoke to said they will never offer the $300 again.

I wouldn't bet on that. I'm a Patron, received an offer to go to Benefactor today for $300. The guy who told you that most likely gets a cut.

I wonder what they would say if someone called and said that there are a GUARANTEED 10-15 members of C B that would jump on a $300.00 deal?

I logged into my account, and I didn't see any discounted gift membership options.

I would jump on it now as well. Was no spare $ on the last run so I missed out and even lapsed a year. I was looking hard at the $500 and may just do the $25 per quarter anyhow. I understand the $ is needed to help our cause but they would get a LOT more in $300 dues than sticking to $500 where it is out of reach for a lot of us. Heck I would have to dig deep to manage the $300.

I would go $300 for my son and I. I explained that several times but was told they would only except the life for $500. The reps have no latitude to move or are not authorized. I even stated would you rather have $600 today or my $25 a year as I have college tuition expenses for kids.

I do like the idea of a GB and bet we could get a decent participation. I would be in for two.

I already have one, but would try to get one as a gift for SWMBO if I had enough warning to save a few bucks towards it. Say a month or two should do it.

Been a Benefactor for a while, wife is Life, daughter is Life, 4 year old grandson is about to be ! - but really, as far as $$, they make out better longterm if you keep paying $35 annually - unless you're as old as me ! I still send a few bucks to ILA and give a gift membership or 2 a year, but not springing for the $1000 or so to upgrade to any more 'inner circle" type memberships. The $500 deal is great for anyone under 50, and the $25 Easy Pay Life benefits everybody - doesn't hurt too bad and they end up with the whole $1000.
