If you had gotten 8 pounds of 2400 I'd be impressed. Not so much with a measly single pound of Unique.

A 5,250 round case of Federal Champion blue box for $300 last Friday. Didn't need it, but .22 LR at under 6 cents a shot today gets bought. Passed it on to a friend who is not as fortunate as I have been.

I'll see your one pound and raise you what I have purchased in the last two months: a case of 4 8lb 748 and a case of 4 4 lb 231. The only reason I didnt get 8 lb 231 was 4lb was all they had.
I split it with a fellow cast bullet machine gun shooter.

All of your bases are being mine! I nailed 3# Unique from Natchez. arrived first part of this week and I still have it in the shipping box upstairs where I can admire it.
Now about that 2400..... and the hunt continues in a relentless quest to save the empty brass.

Ah . . what's .22? It's been sooooo looooong . . . and all my 22s sit still like the "guns of August".

As far as Unique . . . must all depend on where you are at the right time? I was able to get 2# of Unique, 3# of Bulls Eye, 2# of Red Dot and 1# of 700X a few months ago . . and was very glad to find it! That was at two different LGS though and I hit it the day after they got their limited supplies in . .

I've been looking for Trail Boss for a long time as I'd like to try it but that one seems to be scarce as a hen's tooth where I shop . . . the guys say it lasts on the shelf about as long as it takes them to set the container on it . . .

I nailed 3# Unique from Natchez.

What the heck? I have had an email notification at Natchez for over three months, if not four.

Course, it's for an 8lb jug... not a peep so far...
