Wouldn't it depend on whether or not this is a gas operated action? Brass, of course, will be no problem because this can be easily made from 8mm Mauser.

In the Cheaper than Dirt catalog I got a day or two ago, there was plenty of new 7.92x33 ammo for sale.

Hmmm, they don't seem to currently have a US distributor. Don't think I want to try to import firearms myself...:(

I haven't imported a firearm for personal use in maybe 20 years. But I did it once. It was amazingly easy. Got the forms from the BATF. Asked them for advice on filling everything out. Way back then there was nothing to it. Might be worth a look.

But I think these folks expect to have a U.S. distributor.

Marstar Canada sells these.

They sure as hell ain't cheap.

I know they do import to the States. I'm just not sure how easy it is.
