Bob, I bought this for my Yugo Mauser and haven't got around to trying it yet, too many irons in the fire.

I'm using it Bob, in a German K98 and a Portuguese Mauser Vagueiro, the only mold I have for 8x57mm. It's the GC version. I'm still trying to learn what I need to do it get it to shoot to my satisfaction. I'm presently sizing to .325. Some of my problem may be tired barrels but I'm going to keep working on it. I previously made a pound slug to measure the throat for bullet sizing purposes but just got some chamber casting alloy so I can get a better feel of chamber and throat dimensions. The nagging thing I'm running into right now is that if I seat the bullet until it is jammed into the rifling, The base of the bullet is below case shoulder. Soooo, I'm hoping to learn some details on it this weekend. Looking at other threads suggest this is a good mold for Mauser, which is why I got it, but I have some work cut out for me.

I own an IDEAL 323471 and it isn't for sale. It is a shooter in all my rifles :
