Does anyone know if magma engineering carries this part? If so do you know the current price?

Yes, they make and sell them. I don't know the price, but here's a link:

243,

I just warm up the die/lube with a hair dryer and then use a dowel rod to push the die out from the bottom. It works just fine...

I have the removal tool but I only plan to use it as a last resort. I'm with John on this one, just use a wooden dowel and a few light taps with a hammer (don't forget to loosen the set screw if yours has it) after warming the die area up a bit. Got mine from Magma for around $12.50. :castmine::drinks:

Thanks for the info guys.

I'll try the dowel hair dryer method and maybe get the removal tool later. I may have to put an order in at Magma later if I can't find .430 sizer die anyway and will probably add the removal tool at that time.

I was eyeing a removal tool on ebay, ya I know, and the price is already around $35, seemed like it was getting overpriced.

I do wish Magma would put a better list and maybe an online order form to their website so it would be easier to figure out exactly what they have available.

Here's what it looks like:

The thread on the big end (visible on the center piece) is a problem. It's 1/2" X 27 TPI.

i use a propane torch and just heat it till the die will push out with my finger. Ive done this to may star for over 10 years and its never hurt a thing.
