A friend gave me some boolit lube and said this is what is in it. What do you think?

So if I were to use it for my smokeless CB's should I mix it with something else or use it as is?

Good black powder lube.

Yep, Been there done that, and you're right!
It makes a very good BP Lube for patches. In fact, it has become one of my favorites.

MTO - is an excellent BP lube as long as the neatsfoot oil is 100% neatsfoot - not the commercial blended stuff that is being sold as 'neatsfoot' oil

I'm a 98% BPCR shooter and lube 'xperimentor'

How many neatfeet does it take to make a quart of neatsfoot
oil? ;-)

Just one, if hit dead on with the drive tire on a loaded 5000 lb capacity forklift. The clean up is a lot of work.

John Boy, Would ya happen to know what shipping on a quart of that stuff is? I played around a little on the web site, but I somehow couldn't find that part.

Looks like a really good deal for a full quart!

Pure neatsfoot can be found at most tackshops, and Tractor Supply Company TSC stores. neatsfoot compound is NOT what you want. You want "PURE NEATSFOOT" they generally carry both so be careful.

Thanks John Boy! I should have figured that out.

That sounds pretty good to me. I had actually expected more on the shipping.
