Battery cable terminals

How soft/hard are battery cable terminals? Soft enough for muzzleloader boolits?

Soft enough to confiorm tightly to the posts of the batteries. I always consider them as pure. OTOH, how many terminals do we aquire? No harm could come from throwing them in with the WW. We're not running a nuclear lab here.

The ones I've smelted appeared to be pure. DALE

I've acquired more than a few, enough to merit a separate melting session if it will yield lead pure/soft enough for my ML.

Those that I have used ( a goodly number form a car crusher) have been soft, cannot say for sure if they are pure, but soft none the less
