Hi there, I've been casting for about a year now, hand loading for 5. I've gotten a lot of great info from this site and appreciate all the work you all put into the forum.

I currently cast mostly .45 colt for a pair of 1860 army conversions and a 66 winchester (both clones) that's going well. Casting for my 3.5" 1911 is still giving me trouble but I'll get there.
Thanks for hosting a great forum, look forward to gaining more knowledge in the future, and using what limited knowledge I have to help.

Also if this is posted in the wrong place I'll move it.

Welcome from West Virginia.

Start a thread that explains what is happening to your barrel in the 1911 and you will receive a ton of help.

Welcome also from SWMO. I'm in the Springfield area if you need anything. There's plenty of stuff I don't know myself though.

Welcome aboard and welcome to the insanity. I read more than I post and have learned a bunch and I have been casting and reloading for 40 years.
It has made casting easier and more enjoyable.
