So today Kiera decided to make some cupcakes whilst Mike and I were fixing the ventilation system. When she was done she asked if I could pour blue food colouring for the icing she had planned. This I dutifully did and she carried on. My responsibilities taken care of I answered the call of nature. Now friends and neighbours, it transpires that I may have had blue food colouring on my fingers at the exact time the exercise in relief took place as later in the day, to my horror, I observed that certain parts of me were now decorated with a hue of blue! The answer surely was to lather up and remove the offending agent. Think again Skippy. Blue food colouring is right up there with printers' ink. The next step was to fess up to SWMBO for fear that a glimpse of said painted area may lead the state registered nurse to believe I had contracted some vile disorder. I bet you all heard the laughter o'there!!! After a 1 hour run in the forest and subsequent ablutions I can report the tainted area has faded somewhat but to the naked (no pun intended) eye still visible.

Chalk that up to experience. http://oldshooters.freeforums.org/images/smilies/oh+my.gif

You painted a very vivid word picture. The story will be disseminated at our next men's meeting. No worry, names will not be used to protect the "innocent"

"There will be NO photos"

Thank God!!!

The visual is plenty bad enough...

That said, blue man parts might get you a part in the X-rated version of Avatar.

Just sayin'...

Just be glad you weren't processing peppers.

My thoughts too, been there and done that, and I assure you there were no 60-minute woodland trots for many days afterward.

It also led me to discover sour cream as a topical ointment. Don't laugh, it works.

My brother drank a bottle of red food color when he was a kid. He freaked when he started peeing red and then had to confess to the cause to avoid a trip to the doctor.
He peed red for days.

Smurfette is the only one looking right in that picture!

Jeff, you've given me a good laugh for the day! Now how were the cupcakes?

I know in some parts of the world after voting they make you dip your thumb in ink to prevent cheating but this is carrying things too far. :-P

A friends dad was an army medic , he had a fix for that , "blue member", venereal disease , I think it involved a rubber mallet!

or maybe that was just a story he told us to keep us from playing with the wrong girls , either way it left an impression

What if the doctor or the nurse said: Don't worry about it. It will fall off in a day or two".

It it is with a gladdened heart I can report the colour has now faded.
