The Home Guide to Cartridge Conversions - George Nonte This is a rare avis. Amazon is asking $123 and up for it.

Why would anybody pay that kind of money for the book? Does it have some value which cannot be found elsewhere?

Eesh. I suppose that I have much to learn.

Ok so I found the book for a little cheaper than that. It'll be delivered today.

The Donnellys' book is a good one to start with since it is in print, relatively inexpensive, and not a collectors item. Thanks for the link John Boy. I did not know that was on Castpics.

I have the Donnelly book. It's just ok. There are a ton of references in the book but its rather lacking on tools/tips/tricks. I'm hoping that the extra money I spent on the Nonte book will clear some of that up

Landis' .22 Caliber Varmint Rifles and Woodchucks and Woodchuck Rifles have drawings of some (not all) of the wildcat cartridges discussed, with dimensions. Dunlap's Gunsmithing has some pictures of cartridges and chambers with dimensions, but IIRC most of these are standard factory offerings.
