I have had decent luck with the Lee C312-185-RN with Lee Liquid Alox shot as cast, with just the gas check area run base first through a Lee .311 sizer.

I have also used the Lee C312-185-RN. Mine cast at .314 and is good in both 7.62x54 and 303 Brit. I lube and seat GC in a 450 without sizing.

I'm sorely tempted to order a custom mold that will throw a GC 200-220 grain boolit at about .316" for use in Mosins, Lee Enfields, and maybe Argie Mausers. The only thing holding me back right now is... well, money.

cosmo, Look for Lyman #314299 since it casts large enough (.303", nose; .3145", body) to fit, or rather, be sized to fit, your 7.62 x 54R's.

Cosmo. I've gone away from the 314299 in my .311 Mosin and use the 311299. Although they both shot the same and really well by the way, the nose of the 314299 would engrave a bit on the rifling. That made for a pretty hard bolt close on cold days. My MN bore gauges to .311+ an RCH. For the SMLE with a .3135 bore it's the 314299. I shoot it as-cast at .3145.

I've had really good luck in a Mosin with a .312 bore with the 314299 sized to .312 I just received my Magma die for .313 so once I shoot up all of the .312's I've got on hand I'm going to try some at .313.

Have a good one,
Dave

Most of what I've been shooting in mine are group buy customs, the NuJudge and original Fat Thirty. But I also have had pretty good success (haven't done a lot of load development) with the standard Lee CTL312-160-2R sold for the 7.62x39. I tumble lube it twice in Lee Liquid Alox. I size to .314", which is a standard Lee sizer diameter, and it does slightly size those Lee boolits on the tops of the drive bands. (The NuJudge and Fat Thirty get sized substantially at .314".)
