I have a friend who got a 1.35 mold from him. Good quality, and throws a good bullet. It's for a blunderbus, by the way.

More like pre-brain. I've shot it a few times, and actually, if a person understands trajectory, it isn't too hard to hit with, at least on the first shot. The secound one takes a bit more concentration and trepidation, doncha know?

Reckon it'd drop a whitetail? (and the one behind it and the one behind that one) ;)

Looks like I was a bit slow on the draw... I knew of that mold maker and posted it to your 600 ball ad in the classifieds on Oct 10... LOL

Got the round ball mold from the English guy, and it casts real nice round balls. He even engraved my name on the mold..

I have a couple of round ball moulds from Jeff, and they all work like a charm.

The surprising thing to me is the speed in which he gets those moulds to you.

He cut one mould for my odd ball 16 ga. smooth bore at .648, and it throws a 430gr ball. It is "fairly" accurate at 50 yds, but I suspect that is mostly me, and the nature of the beast.

I also have a .570 Mould from Jeff for my 1861 Colt Musket, and I shoot that particlar Rb real well, probably as good as any ML I own.

I have been working on restoring an original 1853 Jager, and I will be ordering another mould from JT when that project is ready.

Good luck with that new mould, I think you'll be pleased with it.
