Picked one of these up at an auction the other day. I was working my google foo trying to find out some info on them and not having any luck. Just looking for some back round and some loading info would be nice. I am thinking ~90gr 2f and 1.125 oz of shot. I have all the cards and the muzzle is ~.725".

Thanks!

I can't help you on history or load but do like the look and enjoy.

I'm thinking 75 grains of ffg and one ounce of shot would make a good hunting load if the gun is sound.

I was feeling a little brave today and took her out and fire her. I loaded 80gr of 2f and just over an ounce of shot ( coincidentally it was the same volume). The pattern at 25 yards looked pretty good so we threw up a couple of birds. Both myself and my fil hit them. I think I will take it out in the morning and see if I can get a squirrel, bunny or whatever jumps up in front of me.

Took the old girl out today rabbit hunting. My 5 year old girl wanted to go with me and so she did. Turned out she was my little good luck charm. I say a whabbit and shot him. I gotta say it was quite fun. Best part was my little princess was there to see it. Gotta love them old guns!
