Has anyone here installed a Burris Fast Fire III on a Winchester 94 using the Burris 410334 mount?
Like? Dislike?

I can say that my neighbor is using a Fast Fire II on a 7 1/2" Ruger Red Hawk and it's taken a beating of at least 500 rounds, still going strong. I don't think you will have a problem with the strength of the product.

I have two FF-3 ,one FF-2, two Pride Fowler special ops sights , two Trijucons and a orgional Tasco Optima . all are mounted on handguns mostley on semi autos and are slide mounted.
On my rifles and revolvers i prefer a tube style sight because off at least 10 dot brightness settings and the lenses are shielded from glair that you sometimes get .
Will it work ! YES.
A Ultra Dot tube sight would be a excellent choice for about $50.00+ less than a FF-3

Thanks, I own Ultadots as well as Fast Fires III. Was hoping to find someone who uses the FF III or the Turnbull mount on the Winchester 94.

Contact Board member NSB or look up his posts. He has an 1886 with the Turnbul mount and FF3.

Read my thread here. Asked a similar question a while back

Had a cross wind blowing here. Shot this at 114yds off my deck rail at camp. It sits very low on the gun and works very, very well. If your eyes need a little assistance this is a very good way to go.

Not the Burris nor the mount, but I have just made a mount along the same lines for my 92. Using a cheap China 3MOA green dot for a tester. So far so good big test will be off the range and in the field. Opinion so far is gone with the irons for me now and save for a quality reflex sight.

NSB can you post a pic of your mount? Maybe we can convince Doug Turnbull to make little CCH covers for the Burris sight.

Turnbull CCH'd my swivel studs and even did my rings and mounts on my High Wall. I'm sure he'd do the Burris mount on the lever gun if you asked him to. I never thought about it or I would have had him do the mount. Good idea.

Home work shop variant with a cheap China sight mounted. Way better that iron sights in every aspect.

Think I am going to try the Turnbull mount that slides in the dovetail. I like how it mounts in front of the receiver and doesn't interfere with wrapping a hand around the receiver.

Thats kind of how I was thinking. Not sure how that Turnbull mount would interefere. Can anyone with that mount tell us?
