What is the difference b/n the 311041 and the Lee 309-170F?

I can't see much of one, but there certainly may be dimensional differences that my calibrated Mk 1 eyeball can't detect.

As discussed elsewhere, I'm having good luck with the Lee design and am considering going into the 6x 311041 GB if they are more or less the same.

Lyman 311041 is such a classic design for the 30-30 that everyone else has something very similar: NEI #55 (308-173-GC), RCBS 30-180-FN, SAECO 305/307 (180 FPgc), LEE C309-170-F. I am not sure there is much functional difference between them. It makes more sense to pick your flavor of this design based on manufacturer block preferences rather then design differences.

The flavor I have been using is 311041. If you want it in 6 cavity blocks I think you will be happy with the 311041 group buy version.

Another alternative you might want to consider is the Ranch Dog TLC 311-165-RF which would be a tumble lube version of the same basic design and available in either Lee 2C or 6C blocks.
