Well, now with that possible 7mm mauser group buy in limbo, I'm in need of a fat 7mm mauser mould. My 1916 Spanish is at .2925 at the throat with a .289 groove and a .2795 bore. I checked with LBT who has a 2 week turnaround and NOE shows .290 at 132 grains being their largest. I'd preferably like it around 175 grains to match original military weight.

By chance would anyone happen to know another source that would stock such a beast? Am I asking for the moon?:violin:
thanks,
Manny

I have a similar situation with my VZ24 7X57. My rifle measures .276 X .287. I bought a Lyman 287641 and beagled it. After beagling the bullet drops at .279 x .290. I bought a .285 push thru sizer and honed it to .289. After lubing and gaschecking it works very well. The bullet weighs about 180 gr if I remember right.

I am also on the list for a group buy here that may be just what you are looking for:

Look through the various options offered and pick the one that fits your needs.

Don't be discouraged. I almost gave up on my rifle until the good people here walked me through what I needed to do. Now it is one of my favorite rifles to shoot.
